Repairing phone lines, finding technical support just got more difficult, as Telstra is cutting 1400 jobs over the next 6 months, to save 1 billion dollars. This cut will be affecting more than 4% of the company’s workforce.

Staff cutback may increase the length of time it will take to have your internet or landline repaired.

Telstra currently employs more than 32,000 full time workers. They are expected to drop as much as 3 billion in revenue after the NBN is complete in 2020.
